NIBIB Program Director – Division of Applied Science and Technology (DAST)

NIBIB is seeking a creative, energetic and dedicated individual for the position of a Program Director in the Division of Applied Science and Technology (DAST). The scientific focus will be on medical imaging technologies, specifically managing a portfolio in nuclear (radionuclide, SPECT and PET) medicine imaging, x-ray (including advanced computed tomography technologies, or CT), electron and ion beam technologies, and related areas within NIBIB’s mission. The responsibilities of the position include: leading scientific program management, recommendation of applications for funding, management of funded grants and awards, outreach, portfolio analysis, program evaluation, identification of critical gaps and development of initiatives, and measures (organizing workshops, publishing notices).
