This summer, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is hosting several Civic Digital Fellows from Coding it Forward, a non-profit focused on the next generation of technology leaders. These undergraduate and master’s-level fellows are spending 10 weeks channeling their computational expertise toward hands-on experience with biomedical data-related challenges. Traditionally an in-person fellowship, these fellows are working remotely with their NIH mentors and teams.
