Being a DATA Scholar requires deep experience in, and knowledge of, data and computer sciences and related fields at NIH. The goals and objectives of this DATA Scholar at NIBIB/DHIT is to perform a full analysis of the government’s OTC testing dataset, ultimately leading to a set of recommendations, opportunities, and limitations regarding use of self-test data for public health surveillance. Objectives would include performing QA/QC on the data, assessing the degree to which OTC data can replace or augment the role of laboratory/POC testing data, characterizing human behaviors around self-test reporting, answering health equity questions around self-testing, and building predictive models.For more information on how to apply by May 31, 2023: https://datascience.nih.gov/data-scholars.
