Event Description
This one-hour online training will provide information about the Web of Science and InCites Benchmarking and Analytics platform for creating bibliometric reports. Attendees will not have access to the InCites platform but will learn about different kinds of visualizations and exports that can be done based on InCites data and included in the bibliometric reports. They will be able to partner with a librarian after the session to create reports or request exports that meet their specific bibliometric reporting needs.
By the end of this training, attendees will be able to:
- Identify the types of citation information available through InCites
- Recognize common analyses for an individual researcher or an organizational unit
- Describe how to work with a librarian to request customized exports, reports, and visualizations
- Attendees are not expected to have any prior knowledge of InCites.
