To support the development of a robust biomedical data ecosystem, NIH is engaged with the Research Data Alliance (RDA) to develop, promote, and help adopt data-sharing frameworks and community principles (e.g., FAIR principles), standards, and best practices.
RDA’s global and cross-disciplinary communities and social infrastructure promote practical advances in data and open science in support of a mission to build the social and technical bridges that enable the open sharing of data use and re-use. RDA-US works to build and capitalize on expanding the knowledge of open use and re-use of data sharing within the US, support global operations, and strengthen the data science infrastructure community.
