I’m collaborating with my mentor Eric Sayers and the Web Usage and Analytics Team at the NCBI to better understand how the public currently uses NCBI web resources and data. Through this work, we plan to develop machine learning models to predict usage of future data and eliminate unnecessary storage costs for infrequently accessed data.

Tackling critical data problems.

I’m excited to be tackling critical data problems with the help of incredible mentorship. Through this experience, I hope to gain more insight into the interdisciplinary aspects of technology work in government.
